EXTRA-VIRGIN "TUSCAN"
OLIVE OIL IDENTIFICATION OF GEOGRAPHIC PROTECTION
The extra-virgin Tuscan IGP
olive oil is named as an extremely high quality food, with the ability
to satisfy even the choosiest palates as a result of the experience
and the care taken in the cultivation of the olives and hand picked
from the trees at the right state of maturity and immediately brought
to the oil press for crushing and cold-pressing, then bottled by
the Olearia Toscana. As required, each of these stages occur in
our territory, controlled in respect to the community rules and
regulations no. 2081/92 by Certiquality, a third entity authorized
by the Ministry of Agriculture. Therefore, the recognition of the
Identification of Geographic Protection represents a guarantee of
origin and of quality to the consumer.
Conformity to the rules and regulations is guaranteed by the Consortium
of Tuscan Oil and by Certiquality, and it is evidenced by the sign
on each bottle where the logo of the protective Consortium and of
the certified entity appear together with the volume and a progressive
bottling number.
